The Friendly Visitor Ministry exists to share God’s love with neighbors in the Olney/Logan area in the Incarnation, St. Helena, Our Lady of Hope parishes, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and other faith communities as well as residents of the larger community. We share the love of God through the ministry of Jesus Christ in: · Spiritual Care, · Access to resources, · Visits, calls and cards, · Help with food, clothing and household needs · Call if you wish to participate

De la Esperanza, Iglesia Luterana San Pablo y otras comunidades de fe como también los residentes de la comunidad en general. Compartimos el amor de Dios a través del ministerio de Jesucristo en: cuidado espiritual, acceso a recursos, visitas, llamadas, y tarjetas. St. Basil said: "The bread which you do not use is the bread of the hungry; the garment hanging in your wardrobe is the garment of him who is naked; the shoes that you do not wear are the shoes of the one who is barefoot; the money that you keep locked away is the money of the poor; the acts of charity that you do not perform are so many injustices that you commit."
Food for the Cupboard. We are asking for donations for our food cupboard. At this time of the year our cupboard is almost empty. The donations we are asking for are: rice, any kind of beans, any kind of pastas, spaghetti sauce, canned meats, dry cereals, peanut butter and jelly. These foods are helpful for all especially, our older seniors who are on a fixed income. Any Sunday is can food Sunday If you forgot your items you can bring them next week and give them to the ushers hospitality people. Thank you. P.S. Please be mindful of expiration date on food products. |
